Workspace & Community Topbar

Detailed information on sections of the Workspace Homepage's Topbar

What is the Workspace & Community Topbar?
The Topbar is the persistent navigation bar displayed across the Workspace Homepage and Community pages, providing access to core navigation and account options that adjust based on a member's assigned role.

The Topbar appears on both the Workspace Homepage and Community pages, and the options it displays adjust based on a member's assigned role and the page being viewed. Its navigation elements are organized into three areas of scope — the Workspace Logo, Community Scope, and Community Pages and Campaign Pages Scope — each covering a progressively narrower level of the platform.

Role Permissions

  1. Member: Views the Workspace Logo, Communities Dropdown, Workspace Search Bar, Message Inbox, and Profile Dropdown on the Workspace Homepage, along with the Community Search Bar, Custom Pages, Activity Bell, and Submit Idea button on Community pages.
  2. All Administrators & Moderators: View every Topbar element available to a Member, plus the AI Assistant, available on both the Workspace Topbar and the Community Topbar.
