Upcoming Changes: Phasing out some Features

In an effort to streamline and improve our services, we will soon be discontinuing the features listed below. This decision is being made to ensure that we can focus on providing the best possible experience for our users.

Total Engagement Statistics from the Leaderboard

Our decision to discontinue the Total Engagement statistics from the Leaderboard stems from the user feedback regarding the lack of intuitiveness in how points were calculated or how users were ranked. This information was not clear to our users.

Reason for the confusion:
Core engagement actions like Idea Submissions, comments, Votes, and Kudos Given have individual Leaderboards.

Total Engagement points include additional actions like linking, sharing, and tagging. Users sometimes try to tally points from individual leaderboards with Total Engagement points, leading to confusion when these points do not tally.

NOTE: Total Engagement actions will continue to be available with Reporting and Analysis as it does now.

Social Logins

We will stop supporting the below listed social logins that are least used by our users or might present challenges in maintaining security standards due to evolving policies on the social login platforms.

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Reddit
  • Github
  • Slack
  • Weibo and Weixin

Once the above-mentioned social logins are discontinued, users from communities using these logins will have the following options for logging in:

  • Users can use any of the other social logins supported by their community.
  • If they have previously set an Email password they can continue to use that password.
  • Users can use Email and password to log in by using the same email address that was associated with their social login and use Forgot Password to set a password.

NOTE: We will continue to support other Social Logins

  • Google
  • Apple
  • LinkedIn
  • Microsoft ( Temporarily inaccessible)

Community Infographics

The decision has been made to discontinue the Community Infographics feature due to challenges in maintenance, frequent data mismatches, and bugs caused by its outdated nature.

Community infographics will no longer be visible in Reporting and Analysis once discontinued.

White-Label

Due to its outdated nature and maintenance challenges, we have decided to discontinue the White-Label feature.

The setting to enable the white label would no longer exist under System Settings
