Ways to Search Ideas and Comments in Moderator Dashboard (Incoming Moderation)

IdeaScale has improved the Moderator Dashboard (Incoming Moderation) where Community moderator, Campaign moderator, Group moderator and Custom field moderator are allowed to search or sort out the ideas and comments using different queries.

     A. Idea Search Option
     B. Comment Search Option

Idea Search Option

Moderator can filter ideas with seach commands: Campaign, Group, Submitter, Date, Submitted, Idea Number, Pending and Label.

1. Campaign

Moderator can search for ideas based on the name of the campaign in the search field. 

i) Choose the query Campaign.

ii) Choose the name of the campaign and run the query by clicking on the search icon (magnifying glass).

2. Group

Moderators can search for ideas on the basis of the name of the group.

i) Choose the query Group.

ii) Choose the group name from the dropdown and run the query by clicking on the search icon (magnifying glass).

3. Submitter

Ideas can be searched based on the name of the idea submitter.

i) Choose the query Submitter.

ii) Select the idea submitter name from the dropdown and click on search icon (magnifying glass) to run the query.

 

4. Date Submitted

Sort out the idea is possible based on the date of idea submission.

i) Choose the query Date_Submitted.

ii) Select the range of dates from the calendar and run the query by clicking on the search icon (magnifying glass).

5. Idea Number

Moderator can search ideas using the idea number.

i) Choose the query Idea_Number.

ii) Put the idea number between {} and run the query by clicking on the search icon (magnifying glass).

 

6. Pending

Moderator can view pending ideas.

i) Choose the query Pending and Yes.

ii) Run the query by clicking on the search icon (magnifying glass).

In addition to search commands, ideas can also be searched using the keywords from the idea title or description or the whole idea by typing it in the search field.

7. Label

Moderator can search ideas using the idea labels.

i) Choose the query Label and select the desired label from the dropdown.

ii) Run the query by clicking on the search icon (magnifying glass).

Comment Search Option

Similar to idea search, Moderator can use search command to filter comments using the search commands which are :Campaign, Group, Submitter, Date Submitted and Pending

In addition to search commands, comments can also be searched using the keywords from the comment or the whole comment by typing it in the search field.
