Dashboards play a vital role in monitoring performance, enhancing engagement, supporting data-driven decisions, and facilitating communication. The Reporting Dashboard gives Workspace Administrators and Community Administrators a unique way to track key metrics on the IdeaScale platform, allowing quick assessment of workspace or community performance. Dashboards can also be customized to surface the metrics most relevant to a specific use case.

Note: Selecting the Reporting link with the arrow (←) redirects the administrator back to the Workspace Home page.
Role Permissions
- Workspace Administrator, Community Administrators & Community Moderators: Views and manages Reporting Dashboards at the workspace level, including creating dashboards, selecting from the list of existing dashboards, and performing dashboard actions such as export, rename, clone, and delete.

List of Dashboard
The List of Dashboard section features a dropdown menu displaying previously created dashboards. Administrators & Moderators can select a preferred dashboard from this menu to analyze user engagement and gain insights into community interactions.
By default, the system creates several dashboards for every workspace to provide a starting point.
Workspace Dashboard
The Workspace Dashboard provides insights into various metrics, including daily and weekly idea views and submissions, as well as daily comments, votes, and submissions related to those ideas. It also tracks weekly trends in idea views and comment votes, allowing Workspace Administrators and Community Administrators to monitor user engagement effectively.

Campaign Report
The Campaign Report is a campaign-wise graphical representation covering all communities within the workspace, based on the following metrics:
- Campaign Ideas Submitted: Bar graph showing the number of ideas submitted in each campaign.
- Unique Campaign Visits: Pie chart showing the number of unique visits per campaign.
- Campaign Total Engagement: Bar graph showing the number of engagement actions per campaign.
- Campaign Total Votes: Bar graph showing the number of votes per campaign.
- Campaign Leaderboard: Table format showing the number of ideas submitted, number of comments, number of idea votes, and number of comment votes.

Engagement Tracker
The Engagement Tracker gives an overview of total engagement across all communities in the workspace, based on the following metrics:
- Idea Views: Total number of idea views.
- Ideas Submitted: Total number of ideas submitted.
- User Engagement: Total logins and engagement members, shown in a line graph.
- Engagement Actions: Total number of engagement actions, shown in a line graph.

Outcomes
The Outcomes Dashboard provides an overview of the total number of Selected ideas, Implemented ideas, and other ideas, shown in both graphical and numeric format.

Filters in Dashboard

The dashboard features intuitive filters that enable refining a search to quickly locate information relevant to a specific community or campaign. Available filters include Community, Campaign, and Time, allowing for a streamlined analysis of metrics.
Create Dashboard

A dashboard can be created in just a few clicks by selecting elements from the available list to display. After entering a name and description for the dashboard, a selection of charts becomes available to add. Changes must be saved by selecting the button in the top right corner of the dashboard.
Manage Dashboard
This page presents a comprehensive list of dashboards created by Workspace Administrators and Community Administrators. Each entry includes the dashboard title, creation date, the name of the creator, and an Actions tab. A dashboard can be marked as a favorite by selecting the star icon located next to its title.

- Set as Default
- Export to CSV
- Export to Excel
- Rename
- Add to Favourites
- Clone
- Delete
Note: The system-generated dashboard is fixed and cannot be deleted or modified to include additional charts.

What dashboards are created by default for a new workspace?
By default, the system creates the Workspace Dashboard, Campaign Report, Engagement Tracker, and Outcomes dashboard for every workspace to provide a starting point.
