Member Management : Revised Terminology
We have revised Member Management terminology to simplify language and enhance clarity, helping users manage member-related features more effectively.
Below are some note-worthy revisions:
1 . Opt_In: Will now be renamed to Invitation Status both at Workspace and Community Level
- Workspace Level Member Management

In: will be renamed to Accepted – i.e Members who are "In" the Workspace have verified and accepted the Workspace invitation
- Default: will be renamed to Unconfirmed – i.e Members who have not yet accepted the WS Invitation.

- In: will be renamed to Accepted – i.e Verified Members who have accepted the Community invitation
- Out: will be rename to Declined – i.e. Members who have declined the community invitations

- Default: will be renamed to Unconfirmed – i.e. Members who have not accepted nor declined the community invitations
- Default: will be renamed to Unconfirmed – i.e. Members who have not accepted nor declined the community invitations
2. Member Status: Renamed to Role
The term "Member" will be updated to either "Workspace Member" or "Community Member," depending on the context.
- Workspace Member: If the Member is only a Workspace Member and not assigned to any community his Roles would be shown as "Workspace Member"
- Community Member: If he is assigned to a Community, within that community scope , the member role will show as "Community Member" instead of just Member as it is shown now.
This update will also be evident in the email notification settings and subject lines. The email notification setting "Member Status Change" will now be titled "Member Role Change," and the subject line will be updated accordingly to reflect this change.
3. Email Status Change:
The "Unknown" status is being renamed to "No Emails Sent" for better clarity This status applies to users who were silently uploaded (without receiving verification emails) or to SSO users, for whom verification emails are not sent.
Member Management : Groups would now be editable from the sidebar
Admins can now easily add or remove members from groups directly through this sidebar interface.
Profile: About Page will now display joined Ideas/Teams.
Within the About tab on the Profile Page, the Ideas Section will now be positioned at the top of the page, allowing users to easily access and view their ideas. It will also show a "Joined" tab to display ideas the user has joined as part of a build team, allowing users to view this information for themselves and others
Idea Data Export will include Labels too
We've added a new "Labels" column to the Idea Data Export. This column will display all labels applied to each idea at the time of export, providing a more comprehensive view of your idea data.
