Print Ideas

Printing for Community Collaboration and Documentation

The Print Idea feature allows community members to export individual ideas or a selection of ideas in a well-formatted document that can be easily printed for workshops or shared with executives.

To access this feature, click on the "More" (...) button on any idea.

Members can choose to add all or specific fields to be available in the print idea format. Note: The Idea Title cannot be disabled/removed from the print format.

The custom fields available in the Print idea option will vary depending on whether they are Private fields, Moderator fields, or Team-only fields.

Administrator - Admins will see regular custom fields and Moderator fields (if Visible to normal members is enabled.)

Moderator - Moderators will see all the fields.

Idea Owner - Idea owners see regular custom fields, Team-only fields and Moderator fields (if Visible to normal members is enabled)

Member - Members will see regular custom fields and Moderator fields (if Visible to normal members is enabled.)

The idea will export to a PDF format with a QR code on the upper right-hand corner of the page. This unique QR code will bring the user back to the idea detail in the app when scanned.

Pro Tip: There's a built-in QR reader in all iOS (Camera) and Android (Google Lens) devices. Give it a try! 



Moderators
can also print multiple ideas from the Apps Icon >> Idea Management. Search the Community name, campaign name, select multiple ideas, then go to the Bulk action's More options for the Print ideas.

Note: You can print only 20 ideas at a time.



Printing is an option given, but please remember to think of the environment.
