What are In-app Notifications?
In-app Notifications are alerts delivered through the Activity Bell and the Notifications section of the Member Profile page that inform a member of activity related to ideas, campaigns, members, or tags they have subscribed to or are following.

The Activity Bell displays up to ten of the most recent notifications, each marked with an icon identifying its type, and a blue dot beside any notification received since the Activity Bell was last opened. Selecting View All Notifications opens the complete list under the Notifications section of the Member Profile page.

Role Permissions

  1. All Roles (Member, Moderator, Administrator): All authenticated roles view and manage their own in-app notifications for ideas, campaigns, members, or tags they have subscribed to or are following. A Moderator additionally receives Moderator digest notifications tied to their moderation activity.

Selecting the Activity Bell opens a dropdown showing up to ten of the most recent notifications related to the member's ideas. A notification only appears if the member has subscribed to or is following the idea, campaign, member, or tag it relates to.
