Follow an Idea

Follow/Subscribe to an Idea

Members in the IdeaScale community can subscribe to specific ideas by clicking on the star that is below the idea details. This will keep them posted through email whenever a comment is added or the idea changes stage.

When clicking on the star the following message below will be displayed.

Members can unfollow an idea by clicking on the star again.

Here is an example of the email received by the member when a comment is added to the idea they have subscribed too.

Additionally, they can find all starred ideas for the community under Profile >> My Ideas >> Following tab.

The ideas being followed by the member can also be found under Profile >> About >> Ideas >> Followed

In case a member has digest email notifications set as weekly, daily, or realtime in spite of these settings, if the member is following an idea they will always receive the notification for a new comment or stage change on that idea in real-time (instantly). Following an idea overrides the Digest email notification setting for that idea.
