Different emails your users can expect to receive
There are various email notifications received by the users of a community. Few of them can be controlled by the member while some are received by default and users do not have any control over it.
1. NEW MEMBER SIGNUP VERIFICATION EMAIL - A person who is registered in a community receives the SignUp verification email. On clicking the link "Verify my email" the member will use the verification code and enter a password to log into the new IdeaScale account.
Note: The verification link expires if the user does not click on it before the stated time.
2. COMMUNITY INVITATION EMAIL - A person who is already registered with IdeaScale and is invited to another IdeaScale community receives an email just with a community URL within the email notification.
3. ACCOUNT APPROVED EMAIL - A person who has verified the email or accepted the invitation email receives an account-approved email in case the community administrator has new member approval setting enabled on the community.
4. PASSWORD RECOVERY EMAIL (Forgot Password) - A member, on clicking the "Forgot Password" link is emailed a Password Recovery message. The email contains a link "Click here to reset your password". On clicking this link, a password reset window will appear and prompt the user to enter a new password.
Note: The Password recovery link expires if the user does not click on it before the stated time.
5. PASSWORD RECOVERY EMAIL (Admin initiated) - An admin can initiate a password recovery email for a member if they are having any trouble with the Forgot password link. It is initiated from Member Management >> Actions >> Send Password Reset.
6. IDEA STAGE CHANGE - Members who have opted to receive notifications for Stage change in ideas receive this email in Realtime.
7. DIGEST EMAIL (WEEKLY) - Members may opt to receive notification for recent ideas and activities in the community on Weekly basis.
8. Stage Task Remnder - A member who is added as participant in a stage. (Except Ideate, Build Team or Archive stage) will receive and email for pending task if initiated by moderator from Idea Portfolio >> Moderate Idea (Hammer icon) >> Stage Task Reminder.
Note: The subject of the email will vary since it is specified by the moderator.
9. IDEA OWNER - A member is notified via email when he/she is assigned as Idea Owner.
10. BROADCAST EMAIL - All community members receive an email broadcasted by the Administrator.

11. EMAIL AUTHOR - Administrator can send email to the idea submitter using Email Author

12. COMMUNITY TASK - User receives email notification about pending community tasks on a Daily, Weekly and Monthly basis.

13. REALTIME NOTIFICATION FOR COMMENTS - User receives new comment notification in Realtime for own ideas.
Note: New idea email notification depends upon the user profile and community-wise notification settings.
14. REALTIME NOTIFICATION FOR IDEA - User receives new Idea submission notification in Realtime.

15. EMAIL IDEA - User receives notification for email idea from community member.
16. PRIVATE MESSAGE - Members can receive notification for Private Message from community members.
17. @MENTIONS - A user will receive an email notification whenever the user's name has been mentioned in the community. You can also directly see the mention by clicking the link "Go see the mention now".
18. FLAG EMAIL - A member will receive a message when their ideas is flagged as duplicate or abuse in the community.
19. GROUP MESSAGE EMAIL - This is an email which can be sent to specific group members by using the API endpoint "/v1/email/group/{id}"

20. TRENDING IDEAS EMAIL(Monthly/Weekly/Real-Time) - The members will receive an email for all the trending ideas in the community as per the frequency set up by the member (Monthly/Weekly/Real-Time).
21. IDEA INACTIVITY EMAIL - This email will be received by users when the idea has remained idle in the community.
22. WORKFLOW EXECUTED EMAIL - This email is received by users when in the Automation builder we select Notify to a particular member or group.

23. MEMBER STATUS CHANGE EMAILS - The members can enable this switch to know if they are updated or given special authorities in the community like being assigned as an administrator, moderator or custom admin.
24. CAMPAIGN INVITATION EMAIL - Community members or group members receive notification for campaign invitation.
25. EMAIL VERIFICATION CODE BY ADMIN - Member receives verification email from admin if the member is facing issues in receiving one.
26. ASSESSMENT REMINDER EMAIL - Community members who are selected as an assessor for the assessment stage receive reminder notification to complete the assessment of the ideas if admin clicks on Remind all Unassessed Members from Workflow >> Funnel management >> Assessment stage >> Stats.
Note: Assessor will receive this email notification when the assessor will be reminded from the Assessment Stage and the 'Receive assessment e-mails' switch is enabled.
27. TWO-STEP AUTHENTICATION (OTP) EMAIL - User receives One Time Password (OTP) notification for the SignUp process by two-step authentication.

28. EMAIL CLAIM VERIFICATION EMAIL - When community members add another email address in the profile, the member receives the notification of email claim verification code in the newly added email address.
