Steps to delete idea

Removing an idea should be done with care; this responsibility lies solely with the community's moderators. They can delete ideas from the Homepage, Moderator Dashboard (previously Incoming Moderation), and Idea Management (previously Idea Portfolio).

Idea won't be deleted directly, it will be moved to the Recycle bin. Moderators can delete the ideas in Recycle bin permanently fromModerator Dashboard (previously Incoming Moderation), and Idea Management (previously Idea Portfolio).

Deleting ideas from Idea Management: 

Ideas can be deleted in bulk by selecting multiple ideas and using Delete idea option from Action tab. The system will ask to confirm the deletion.
