Community Access Rules
Community-level access rules for SSO and social logins.
Path: Community Topbar >> Apps Icon >> Community Settings >> Security >> Community Access Rules
Community Administrators can enable Community access rules to select authentication mechanisms like SSO, IdeaScale email-password and Social logins for the community.
If no rules are defined on Community-level, IdeaScale email-password would be the default login mechanism.
Email Login
Email login allows users to log in to the community with their IdeaScale credentials other than the option to login via SSO. Enabling this option shows the dropdowns to select groups that are and aren't allowed access via IdeaScale credentials to the community.
Social Login
Social logins available to allow members to login to the community are inherited from Workspace settings during community creation.
Community admin can enable or disable the available options as required on the community level.
Single Signon
The single signon setup at workspace level are available under this section. Admin can choose to enable or disable them on the community level.
Who can see Access Rules:
- Workspace Admin (Only if they are members of the community regardless of their role in community)
- Community Admin
