Digest Emails

This section contains all Digest Email settings available at the community level, including controls for daily and weekly digest frequencies, schedule, and options to include or exclude specific items such as private campaign ideas and trending digest. These settings define which types of activity are summarized and how often participating members receive those summaries.

Weekly Digest Schedule

The desired day can be set for sending out the weekly digest to all community members who have opted in to receive it. Admins can choose a specific day of the week that best aligns with their engagement strategy or internal communication cadence.

Each weekly digest will include a maximum of 5 ideas, typically prioritized based on recent activity and relevance within the selected time frame, ensuring the content remains concise and focuse

If no new ideas are submitted during the week, an empty weekly digest will not be generated or sent, preventing members from receiving unnecessary emails.

Digest Notification

Turning this switch to OFF will disable all the digest emails (Daily & Weekly) for all the community members. Those who have set a digest email (Daily & Weekly) for email notification will not receive an email notification for community activity unless it is set to 'Real-time'.

Members can choose to receive only Real-Time email notifications when digest emails (Daily & Weekly) is disabled for all community members. This can be changed under Profile  >> Settings >> Notification Settings >> Bell Icon

Include Ideas from Private Campaign in Digest Notification

When this setting is turned ON, ideas from private campaigns will be included in digest notifications for members of those private campaigns, along with other community ideas. Members who are not authorized to view or participate in a private campaign will not see ideas from that campaign in their digest email notifications.

Trending Digest Notification

When this setting is turned ON, a separate email highlighting trending ideas will be sent to members who have enabled this option in their profile notification settings. The trending digest notification frequency can be configured as Weekly or Monthly, and members may also choose to disable these notifications entirely from Profile  >> Settings >> Notification Settings >> Bell Icon

Default Digest Email Frequency

Community admins can configure a default digest email frequency that applies to all community members. This default setting is automatically applied to new members when they join the community; however, each member can later adjust their own digest frequency at any time from Profile >> Settings >> Notification Settings.
