Community Profile Questions
Community Member Profile Questions that allow you to create profile questions for your community members

When creating a community, the community admin can set up Member Profile Questions to gather more information from the members. These questions not only provide valuable insights but also help to categorize members into different groups.
Profile questions are an essential tool for workspace administrators, facilitating the collection of valuable insights regarding their members. This information can also be utilized to effectively create groups and filter ideas.

Adding Profile Question: Profile questions can be created on both Workspace and community level with different field types.

Langauge: Enter Profile question's default language.
Field Label: Enter the profile question title or name.
Field Type: Select the field type like Single line text box, Large text/Description, US Zipcode, URL/Hyperlink, Date, Single choice, Multiple choice, Checkbox, Integer or Currency. Click here to learn more about the response type
Field key: It is updated automatically which is used in API calls.
User Instructions: Additional information for members to help fill out the responses visible besides profile questions.
Show on Registration form: Enabling this field allows the Community Admin to collect additional member data during Workspace registration or when a member joins the community. These fields are automatically set as Required; therefore, when this option is enabled, the separate Required toggle is hidden on the custom field creation form. If the Show in Registration Form or Required for Joining option is disabled, the member profile questions will not be displayed on the registration form.
In the case of Public communities, enabling the option will show the member profile question on the public community's registration page.
Required: To make the profile questions mandatory to complete, the Required field switch needs to be enabled. Disabling this option allows the members to skip filling in the additional information.
Private Field: Responses of the members can be kept confidential by marking the fields as Private. Only Moderators can see the responses from the Moderator dashboard or in the summary view. The label 'Private' will appear in blue on all these questions thus making it easier to separate them from the non-private fields
Moderator Field: This field is exclusively accessible to Community moderators, enabling them to enter the member's details directly. Normal members do not see the questions and thus are not prompted to fill in the information. Note: This field overrides the Private field.
Visible to Normal Member: When the Moderator field is turned ON this option will show up. Enabling it will show the moderator field to all members, though no input will be allowed.
Regularly Update or Confirm Field: When enabled, the moderator can specify the time interval (in months) when members will be asked to update or confirm their Member profile fields. Help Article on Update or Confirm Member Profile Fields
The community profile questions will appear on the member’s Profile page alongside the workspace profile questions when the community is selected from the “Filter by” dropdown. Members can update their responses to these questions by clicking the pencil icon next to each field.

Members would be prompted to complete the member profile questions upon logging in. It is compulsory for members to fill in all Member profile fields which are marked as Required. Required fields are denoted by a red asterisk (*). The members would be prevented from participating in community activities until they complete the member profile questions. They would be prompted to complete the questions every time they log in until it is done.
Member profile questions that are not marked as Required will be displayed to the members only once when they log in for the first time. They may choose to skip inputting data in these fields. These questions would not be visible to the members the next time they log in.
The administrator or moderator can edit a member's profile question responses from the members' Profile page as well as from the Member's detail panel under Member Management.
Values for Profile questions can be populated by the Community admin at the time of bulk-importing members.
