Community Access Control
Overview of Community Access Control Options
Path: Community Settings >> Security >> Access Control
This section provides community administrators with the capability to implement a range of access restrictions, manage auto-approvals, enable profanity filtering, ensure SSL security, and adhere to government compliance standards.
Approvals Required

Member Approvals: When this setting is ON, all the new members joining the community will first require the Moderator's approval to participate in the community.

Auto Approvals: Specify trusted email domains and IP address whose users will be automatically approved as new members, bypassing the standard moderator review and speeding up access for known organizations.

Approved IPs: Approved IPs allow the administrator to control access to the community based on IP (Internet Protocol) address. Only those users who access the community from the defined IP addresses are allowed to view and participate in the community.
Blocklist
Auto Block domains: Members of specified email domains will be automatically blocked from registering or joining the community, preventing users from those domains from viewing or participating in any community activities.
Profanity Filtering: The profanity filtering feature allows the community admin to block certain abusive words or emojis from the community.
