Auto Approval
Specify email domains that are automatically approved for new members, bypassing moderation.
Path: Workspace Homepage >> Navigation Panel >> Settings >> Community >> Community Access >> Access Control >> Approvals >> Auto Approval
The Community Admin can enable or disable Member Approvals for their community. Turning this toggle on or off will dynamically display the corresponding panel, where the admin can configure any additional actions related to the auto-approved domain list.

Require Member Approval is ENABLED + Auto-Approved Domains List
1. Rule for New Signups: All new signups are held in a queue for moderator review before they are granted access.
2. Auto Approved Domain List: Any member registering with a domain that is in the auto-approved list will be granted access to the workspace. Any other user signing up from a non-approved domain will require manual moderator approval.
The member with the approved domain will receive a verification email with a code to verify themselves.

Clicking on the "verify my email" link will prompt the user to enter the code sent to their email address. Once verified, they will be redirected to the login page. Upon logging in, they will be required to set up their workspace profile.
3. Optional Admin Action: When an Auto Approved Domain list is added, the admin will see an option labeled "Update existing active members outside approved domains to Pending". Clicking this will sweep your current member list and move already active members who don't match your trusted domains back into the "Pending" state, requiring moderators to re-approve them.
Require Member Approval is DISABLED + Auto-Approved Domains Listed
1. Rule for New Signups: New Signups will no longer require approval from moderators and will be able to access the workspace instantly after verifying their email address.
2. Auto Approved Domain List: Any member registering with a domain that is in the auto-approved list will be granted access to the workspace. However, because the sub-toggle "Allow signups from specified domains" acts as a restriction list, any user trying to register with an email domain outside of this list will be auto-rejected.

Any future signups not matching the auto-approved list will be blocked from signing up and will see an access prohibition message.

3. Optional Admin Action: When an Auto Approved Domain list is active under this mode, the admin will see an action labeled "Update existing active members outside allowed domains to Banned". Clicking this will instantly ban any currently active members whose email domains do not match your new allowlist.
Approved IPs

IP based access restriction allows the Workspace administrator to control access to the workspace based on IP (Internet Protocol) address. Only those users who access the workspace from the defined IP addresses are allowed to view and participate in the workspace.
