| Workspace Strings is the settings feature that allows Workspace Administrators to customize the text and terminology used throughout the Workspace and in its email notifications. |
The Strings settings feature offers enhanced flexibility and personalization by allowing any text used throughout the Workspace and its email notifications to be searched, edited, imported, exported, and reverted as needed.

Search Strings
This section allows a Workspace Administrator to customize the language and terminology used within the Workspace using the search feature. To edit a string:
- Select the desired language and enter the word or string to change in the search field.
- A list of relevant, editable strings appears.
- Select the Customized checkbox next to the string, make the desired edit, and select Save. Once saved, the customized string is marked with a green line border on its left side.
- Deselect the Customized checkbox to revert the string back to its original text.
A third dropdown, next to the language and search fields, controls whether the list below displays All strings or only Customized strings.
The Actions dropdown provides access to the Import Strings, Export Strings, and Revert All Custom Strings options, each covered below.
Import Strings
This functionality enables a Workspace Administrator to import strings using an Excel sheet, simplifying the process of updating or customizing multiple strings across the Workspace or its email notifications at once.

Export Strings
This functionality enables a Workspace Administrator to export strings to an Excel sheet, which can then be used as a template for importing strings. The Export Strings option, located in the Actions dropdown, exports a file containing all Workspace strings.
Revert All Custom Strings
This option allows a Workspace Administrator to revert every customized string in the Workspace back to its default language and text in a single action.

What happens to a string after the Customized checkbox is deselected?
Deselecting the Customized checkbox reverts that individual string back to its original, default text.
Does exporting strings change any existing customizations?
No. Exporting strings only generates an Excel file containing the current strings; it does not modify or remove any customizations already applied within the Workspace.
Is it possible to revert a single string without affecting other customized strings?
Yes. Deselecting the Customized checkbox for an individual string reverts only that string. Revert All Custom Strings, by contrast, reverts every customized string across the Workspace at once.
What does the green line border next to a string indicate?
A green line border on the left side of a string indicates that the string has been customized and saved.
