Workspace Edit Mode

What is Workspace Edit Mode?
Workspace Edit Mode is a feature on the Workspace Landing Page that allows editing, previewing, and publishing of the Workspace's text, images, descriptions, layout, and translations.

Workspace Edit Mode allows the Workspace Owner, Workspace Administrator, and Workspace Translation Moderator to update the text, images, and descriptions on the Workspace Landing Page, and to rearrange the order in which content appears.

Role Permissions

Workspace Owner, Workspace Administrator: Full access to Edit Mode — edit text, descriptions, and images, hide or reorder sections, rearrange the Workspace Landing Page layout, and manage Landing Page versions.
Workspace Translation Moderator: Limited access to Edit Mode — can translate the title, text, and description on the Workspace Landing Page, but cannot edit content, layout, sections, or Landing Page versions.
Community Administrator, Campaign Administrator, Moderator & Members: Do not have access to Workspace Edit Mode.

Accessing Edit Mode

Edit Mode can be accessed by the Workspace Owner, Workspace Administrator, and Workspace Translation Moderator through the Profile dropdown menu while on the Workspace Landing Page.

Select Edit Mode from the Profile dropdown menu.
Select Start Editing.

Edit Mode for Workspace Administrator and Owner

The Workspace Landing Page uses a single template. Within this template, the Workspace Administrator or Workspace Owner can edit text, descriptions, and images, hide sections, and rearrange the layout.

Sections

The Workspace Landing Page includes multiple sections that the Workspace Administrator can customize, hide, or reorder.

Versions

The Workspace Owner and Workspace Administrator can name each Landing Page version and add notes detailing the changes made, then save the version for future use or publish it immediately. Older or unused versions can be deleted at any time. See Exceptions below for the maximum number of versions that can be stored per template.

Preview & Publish

Selecting Preview displays a simulation of the Workspace Landing Page before it is published, allowing its appearance to be reviewed ahead of going live.

Selecting Publish, located on the right, finalizes the changes and makes the curated Workspace Landing Page live for the workspace.

Edit Mode for Workspace Translation Moderator

The Workspace Translation Moderator has access to a dedicated button that starts the translation process for the title, text, and description on the Workspace Landing Page.

Select the Pencil icon to edit.
Enter the translated text under the Translation section.
Select Confirm/Verify to save the changes.

The dropdown menu displays the languages supported for translation within the workspace.

Once a translation has been verified and updated, it becomes visible to any member who has selected that language as a profile language.

Exceptions

Version Storage Limit: A maximum of 20 versions can be stored per template.

A translated Workspace Landing Page becomes visible to any member who has selected that language as a profile language, once the translation has been verified and updated.
