Idea Inactivity Emails
Reminder emails for inactive ideas
Path: Community Settings >> Email Settings >> Idea Inactivity Email
The Idea Inactivity email serves as a reminder (or perhaps a nag) that is sent to community members if an idea has not had any activity for X number of days.

The community administrator can set up multiple rules to trigger Idea inactivity email based on the number of inactive days, a specific campaign, specific stage, the recipient group and the message. Along with the email, recipients can also view it on their Notification Dropdown as well.
Note: A member will receive no more than one email per month per idea.

Idea Inactivity Rule Setup
To set up an Idea Inactivity Email Rule, click on the + Create Rule button that will open up the pop-up modal to fill in the details.

Rule Name: Enter the desired Rule name.
Inactive Days Threshold: The number of days after which the admin wishes to trigger the email.
Select Campaign(s): Choose a campaign/campaigns from dropdown whose idea's inactivity email needs to be triggered. Admin can also select All campaigns option.
Select Stage(s): Select a stage/stages whose ideas need to trigger the email for inactivity.
Enable: Turn On the Enable switch to activate the rule.
Move on to the next screen to set recipients and email text.

Recipients: Admin can choose between Idea authors Idea owner, Teams, Moderators, Assessors, and Reviewers as recipients of the email.
Subject: Enter the subject line for the inactivity email.
Language: Set the default language of the inactivity email.
Message: Enter the email body for the email. Admin can use the rich text editing options to customize the text.
Button Label: Enter the text to be visible on the button that will redirect to the inactive idea.
Move to the next page to see the email preview and finish the rule setup.

Actions

The Actions column consists of More (3 dots) option that contains few additional options.
Edit: The rule can be edited at any time by clicking on the Edit option besides the rule.
Clone: The admin can duplicate the Idea inactivity rule by simply clicking on the Clone option besides the rule to be duplicated.
Delete: To delete the rule, click on the Delete option beside the rule. The admin will be asked to confirm the deletion before execution.

A member can opt out of receiving the Idea Inactivity Email from their Profile >> Settings Notifications Settings click on Bell icon for the desired community.
