The Footer section displays a set of quick links at the bottom of community pages, providing members with convenient, immediate access to key resources.

The community administrator can reorder the footer links as well as add 3 additional links.

Footer Edit Mode
The footer can be enabled or disabled from Community Settings >> Community Configuration >> Footer section. It can also be edited using the Pencil icon.

When the administrator selects the Pencil icon, they are directed to the Footer editing page, where they can reorder the links, hide certain links, and add up to three additional hyperlinks to the footer.
The following links cannot be removed or hidden:
1. Copyright - Displays the latest Copyright for IdeaScale.
2. Accessibility - Displays a pop-up screen about 508 compliance.
3. Idea Management - Navigates to the IdeaScale website page.
4. Cookie Policy - Navigates to IdeaScale Cookie Policy page.
5. Privacy Policy- Navigates to IdeaScale Privacy Policy page.
6. IdeaScale End User Terms - Navigates to the IdeaScale End User Terms page.
The following links can be hidden:
1. Terms of Use - This hyperlink navigates to the community's Terms of Use. It can be renamed by expanding with an arrow or hidden using the eye icon on the Footer edit page.

2. Contact - This hyperlink navigates to the contact page where the information entered in the Footer edit page's Contact section is displayed. The Email address, Phone number and Address can be edited using the expand arrow or hidden using the eye icon.

Custom Links
Administrators can add up to three custom links in the footer from the Footer edit page. To add a custom link, click the Add Custom Link button; a new link module will appear at the end of the existing links. Enter the link text in the Label field and the hyperlink in the URL field. The footer cannot be saved until both fields are completed.

Reorder Footer
The hyperlinks in the footer can be reordered using the Grid icon (six dots). Hover over the icon and drag each link to the desired position. When finished, click Save. The links will appear in the footer in the order shown here.
