| Export Roles is a data export feature that generates a downloadable spreadsheet listing every member assigned an Administrator or Moderator role within the community. |
Export Roles compiles the full set of role assignments across a community — Community Administrators, Campaign Group Administrators, Campaign Administrators, Community Moderators, Campaign Moderators, Group Moderators, Custom Field Moderators, and Custom Admin Roles — into a single Excel file, with each role type broken out onto its own sheet.
Role Permissions
- Community Administrator and Custom Admin: Generates the Roles export from Export Data and downloads the resulting file.
Generating the Export
Selecting Export Data from Data >> Export Data >> Roles generates a link to the export file. Once generated, the file can be downloaded immediately or accessed at a later date from Export Data >> Export Log.
Exported Fields
The exported file is an Excel workbook containing the following sheets:
- Community Administrators (Sheet 1): Email Address and Admin Groups of assigned Community Administrators.
- Campaign Group Administrators (Sheet 2): Email Address, Campaign Group Name, and Admin Groups of assigned Campaign Group Administrators.
- Campaign Administrators (Sheet 3): Email Address and Campaign Name of assigned Campaign Administrators.
- Community Moderators (Sheet 4): Email Address of assigned Community Moderators.
- Campaign Moderators (Sheet 5): Email Address and Campaign Name of assigned Campaign Moderators.
- Group Moderators (Sheet 6): Email Address and Member Group Name of assigned Group Moderators.
- Custom Field Moderators (Sheet 7): Email Address, Custom Field Name, and Choice Options of assigned Custom Field Moderators.
- Custom Admin Roles (Sheet 7): Email Address of assigned Custom Admins.
