| Export Community Leaderboard is a feature that lets the Community Administrator generate a single downloadable report of community leaderboard activity, covering ideas, votes, comments, and kudos. |
The Community Administrator selects a time period, timezone, campaign scope, groups, and the specific activity tabs to include, and the system compiles the selected data into one export with a separate sheet per tab.
Role Permissions
- Community Administrator: Configures and generates the Community Leaderboard export, selecting the time period, timezone, campaign scope, groups, and tabs to include.
Export Fields
Navigate to Settings >> Community >> Data >> Export Data >> Community Leaderboard, then complete the following fields to configure the export:
- Time Period: Select Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly as the range of time the export covers.
- Timezone: Select the timezone the exported data should be viewed in, instead of defaulting to the community's timezone.
- Choose Your Campaign: Select whether to export data from all campaigns, active campaigns only, or a single, specific campaign.
- Groups: Select which groups to include in the report.
- Choose Tabs: Select which activity tabs to include in the export.
Exported Report Structure
The export generates one sheet per tab selected in the Choose Tabs field, from among Ideas, Comments, Votes, Kudos received, and Kudos given. Every sheet, regardless of tab, shares the same set of columns:
- Email: The member's email address.
- First Name: The member's first name.
- Last Name: The member's last name.
- Username: The member's username.
- Groups: The groups the member belongs to, shown only if Groups was selected as an export field.
- Count: The member's activity count for that sheet's tab.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does every sheet in the export have the same columns?
Yes. Regardless of which tabs are selected, every resulting sheet shares the same columns: Email, First Name, Last Name, Username, Groups (if selected), and Count.
Can the export cover more than one campaign?
Yes. The Choose Your Campaign field allows the Community Administrator to export data from all campaigns, active campaigns only, or a single specific campaign.
Does the export use the community's default timezone?
Not necessarily. The Community Administrator can select a preferred timezone for the exported data instead of using the community's default timezone.
Is the Groups column always included in the export?
No. The Groups column appears only when Groups is selected as one of the export fields.
