[Community Settings - Email Settings](https://help.ideascale.com/community-settings-email-settings?hsLang=en) # Email Notifications Received By Moderators ## Email notifications received by the community moderator | What are Email Notifications Received By Moderators? | | --- | | Email Notifications Received By Moderators are the system-generated messages automatically sent to a Community Moderator, Campaign Moderator, Group Moderator, Custom Field Moderator, or Translation Moderator for approvals and other activities occurring within the community. | Moderators of a community receive email notifications for various approvals and other activities that occur within the community. IdeaScale has five types of Moderators: Community Moderator, Campaign Moderator, Group Moderator, Custom Field Moderator, and Translation Moderator. Receive Email Notification for Flagged Idea (Report Abuse or Duplicate):** Community Moderator receives a flagged idea email notification to report abuse or report duplicate ideas. New Idea Approval — Campaign Moderator: A Campaign Moderator receives the New Idea Approval notification only when the campaign-level new idea approval setting is enabled for that campaign. 2. Flagged Idea — Campaign Moderator: A Campaign Moderator receives the Flagged Idea notification when an idea within a moderated campaign is reported as Abuse or Duplicate. --- ### Frequently Asked Questions #### Do all Moderator types receive the New Idea Approval notification? Community Moderator always receives this notification. A Campaign Moderator receives it only when the campaign-level new idea approval setting is enabled for that campaign. #### Do all Moderator types receive the Flagged Idea notification? Community Moderator always receives this notification. A Campaign Moderator receives it only when an idea within a moderated campaign is reported as Abuse or Duplicate. #### What digest frequencies are available for the Community Task notification? Three: Stage Notification Daily Digest, Stage Notification Weekly Digest, and Stage Notification Monthly Digest. #### How does a moderator receive the Contact Moderators notification? By being notified when the Contact Moderators option is used from Idea Management >> Idea Action. #### Do Moderators receive the same notifications as community members? Yes.
