Details on how to view and manage Email logs

Path: Community Settings >> Email Settings >> Email Logs

The Community Admin can view and manage all email logs in this section with different tabs for delivery status, digest emails, idea-sharing emails, and email reports.

Email Reports

Email Reports contain all the logs for the Deliverability test done by clicking on the button under Community Settings >> Email Settings >> General >> Deliverability Test.

Email Delivery Logs

When you are configuring email settings or investigating unexpected email behavior, the Email Delivery Log provides deeper visibility into the underlying email transactions. It displays detailed information for any activity that generates an email.

Digest Email Logs

The Digest Email Log lists all digest emails sent according to the schedule configured in Digest Email settings. For each entry, it displays the email subject, the date it was sent, the number of members it was delivered to, and the number of emails that bounced.

Note: In case of a week with no idea or comment submitted in the community, there will be no weekly digest triggered.


Idea Sharing Email

The Idea Sharing Email log lists all ideas that have been shared by email, including the sender’s email address, the date the idea was shared, the recipients, and whether any of the emails bounced.
