Under Date Format, a Member selects a preferred format from the available options and the selection is applied to the Member's account. **[Help Article on Profile Settings](https://help.ideascale.com/profile-settings?hsLang=en)** --- ### Where the Date Format Preference Applies Once selected, a Member's date format preference applies in the following places: 1. Idea and Comment Date Stamps: Timestamps shown on ideas and comments are displayed using the Member's selected format. 2. Date Type Custom Fields: Custom fields configured with a date type value display that value in the Member's selected format. 3. All Dashboards: All the Dashboards - Idea Portfolio, Moderator Dashboard, Member Management, Campaign Management - display dates in Member's selected format. 4. Exports and Reports: Reports and exported data that include a defined start and end date reflect the Member's selected format. --- ### Exceptions 1. No Date Format Selected: If a Member has not selected a specific date format in Profile Settings, the default format set for Workspace by the Workspace Administrator is used instead. --- ### Frequently Asked Questions #### What happens if a Member does not choose a date format?
